DISCIPLINARY RULES FOR THE STUDENTS
These rules are by no means exhaustive. They may be amended, modified or annulled as and when the management feels it necessary for the smooth and effective functioning of the school. However substantial changes, if any, may be notified to the students and/or parents from time to time. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for its breach.
► The students should look upon their schoolmates as brothers/sisters.
► The school student’s handbook is an essential part of their outfit. Therefore it should be brought to the school on all working days. If it is mutilated or lost it has to be replaced immediately.
► They shall be obedient and respectful to the teachers and conform strictly to the rules, regulations and traditions of the school.
► All should be present for the assembly and maintain perfect order.
► Classrooms and school premises are to be kept clean. No bits of paper or waste material shall be thrown in and around.
► Students must speak only English in the school campus.
► Every student must wear clean, complete and correct uniform daily.
► Any damage to the property of school must be made good, by the student concerned.
► Students are responsible for the safe custody of their own belongings. Each article must be marked with the student’s name.
► A person is judged by his/her manners. Every student, therefore shall always greet his/her teachers and elders warmly wherever they meet them school or outside.
► All students shall cheerfully obey their parents and teachers giving them due respect and shall accept their guidance and correction with gratitude. Challenging the authorities, the principal or teachers will be considered breach of conduct.
► Besides the text book and library books, no other books, news papers, magazines, comics etc. are to be brought to the school without the permission of the principal.
► The principal has right to control all correspondence, which comes to students in the school.
► Never make fun of those who are backward in their studies or not so quick to grasp the lessons. Let there be no ridiculing of anyone on account of any physical defect.
► The names of those children who absent themselves without leave for three consecutive months will strike off the rolls and re-admission is left to the discretion of the principal. The leave application is to be submitted.
► It is not advisable for any student to have large amount money or other valuables articles with him/her. The school authorities will not be responsible for money and things lost.
► Students are not allowed to receive visitors in the school without the permission from the principal.
► Students are strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones.
